Adios, winter.

3/27/14

Here's something you probably already know...I am a big BIG fan of #allblackeverything. If you took a peek into my closet you'd find plenty of separates in the classic color that allow me to mix and match all black looks that let me go from day to night. I've found that the key to keeping it chic and not getting swallowed up by the color is texture (and fit, obvi). Thoughtfully adding small details via shoes and accessories while mixing and matching different textures and textiles allows for a much more interesting look.

Hat: Forever 21 (similar here and here.); Sweater: Vince (here.); Top: Piper Gore (similar here and here); Pants: Club Monaco; Boots: Target (I know, RIGHT?!); Sunnies: QUAY Eyewear (similar here.)

Here I mixed some leather with knitwear, and suede details with some faux snakeskin booties. Speaking of knitwear, this Vince sweater has been my favorite winter piece to style. It's been in serious rotation all season because it's so easy to wear and so so warm. Honestly, I would like to add every. single. color. to my wardrobe for next season. It's been a total lifesaver during those days when it is so cold you just have to bundle up. But the best part about it is that it lets me do that without looking like a bag lady, which is a total score...amiright ladies?

Shop the look below: (Guess what? Most of these pieces are on SALE!)

Thank you for reading today and happy hump day everyone! :)
