Lucky me. I live in a city where I am surrounded by some amazingly creative people that believe the same thing that I do - that collaboration is key to reaching new creative heights. I think it's so interesting to see what happens when talented people get together and let their creativity stew.  So when I got an email from the fantastic Cameron Adams, the man behind the camera that captures Atlanta's most telling street style and the creative behind the ATLANTA STREET FASHION blog, asking if I was up for a collaboration of sorts in the new year, I couldn't jump on board fast enough. The above photographs are the result of the collaboration between myself, Cameron and the amazing Atlanta (via Germany) photographer Terence S. Jones.

To start, Cameron suggested we use Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery as a backdrop for the shoot. To be honest, I am not one to stroll through cemeteries for fun (or for any reason), but I went with it. I am so glad I did! As we walked around looking for a spot to set up, I couldn't help but take in the scene with wide eyes. The old tombstones, beautiful statues and old trees, that I feel could tell you stories about the people that have lived beneath them for a hundred years, were all so perfect in the most imperfect way. Something I once thought was creepy was suddenly fascinating. The weather seemed to be on the same page as us - it was an overcast and chilly, but beautiful, afternoon that was perfect for an outfit I've been dying to wear.

This Club Monaco shearling sweatshirt is one of my favorite pieces in my winter wardrobe; warm and cozy but with no shortage of style. Leave it to CM to turn a comfy sweatshirt in a glam statement piece. Genius! The Blank NYC leather shorts have been in rotation for more than a season but I can't stop wearing them. They not only satisfy my current #1 obsession (leather) but they also literally go with everything I own. Perfect.
